On 4 of April 2007 a brand new compilation project, titled Big In Japan will be released from Klik records. George Kyriakou and Hiroshi Watanabe make an imaginative trip to the Far East and present a unique project dedicated to the Japanese elctronic culture. Based to stories we heard up to now, Japanese artists are quite popular for their minimal techno sound while performing in clubs. In the particular case the myth falls down with the Japanese producers presenting in opposition a thematic history where their internal -sentimental world elects itself, approaching to a large extent the Mediterranean culture. Undoubtfully Big In Japan constitutes a project where the Japanese artists attribute their biggest respect in a country that they admire so much for its history, its beauty, and of course its crowd based always on amazing stories they heard from an established Greek Japanese hero, Hiroshi Watanabe. A unique listening experience, an endless trip feat ten eclectic productions from Hiroshi Watanabe, Seiichiro Tanaka, Slow Didi, Takayuki Higo aka Helix, Anemos, Dj sodeyama, Japanese Synchro System, Satoshi Fumi, Jun Yamabe & Anemos. In total, ten unique musical soundscapes flirting between atmospheric deep house, mellow beats and techy electronica ready to melt your heart
The Release party of Big In Japan will be held on the 1st of June at Zapeio, Athens with the Japanese artists presenting live and dj sets
